The attack on the United States Capitol on January 6, desecrated one of our sacred places that we, as Americans, hold dear.
Pagan's night out
Those who desecrated it should be held able for their actions. We mourn the senseless loss of life from that day. We deeply thank those who did all they could to keep our legislators and our democracy safe. We also look forward to a future of hope, of continuing the hard work, and of forging a greater unity in this nation.
New executive leaders have taken the oath of office and have a deep and abiding comprehension of what it means to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Resources. Welcome to the Texas Local Council. Part of our mission as the Texas Local Council of the Covenant of the Goddess is to provide a sense of community. And as a part of the citizenry of the United States and a global community, we believe the tragedy that befell George Floyd in Minneapolis, along with many similar and unnecessary deaths from racial bias, says to us we must take action and lift our voice in unison with our greater national and global communities.
Eight minutes and forty-six seconds was how long George Floyd's neck was under Officer Chauvin's knee where he begged for his life in broad daylight while three other officers did nothing to stop this crime.
We share the responsibility to speak out and stand up against such blatant disregard of human rights and are deeply concerned about and angered by the disproportionate brutality people of color experience in this land of the free and home of the brave. While what happened to George Floyd is recent in our collective memory, there are many other victims of such crimes in the United States, whose names, sadly, could fill s. We all have the right and responsibility to demand change.
