A fun honky-tonk bar close to all of the action. Mama Tried is a fun spot for a pre or post drink if you are watching a concert at the Toyota Music Factory. Inside there is a 30 person wrap-around bar and 24 flat screens for sports fans to still enjoy the game.
At Mama Tried there is a spacious patio overlooking Texas Lottery Plaza another great place to hear live music or there is live music inside regularly. The hardest decision is narrowing down which of the g ourmet Argentinean empanadas you want to try first. During our visit, we tried the Texas brisket, Chilipanzinga spicySpinach and Cheese, and the Banana and Nutella for dessert.
I would suggest ordering several different kinds of empanadas per person so that you can cut them in half. This is a great way to try more flavors and discover your favorites. They are still an important part of the experience.

If you feel a bit overwhelmed you can always ask your server to help you. I would recommend ordering from the menu with the mindset of sharing family-style. That way you can try lots of menu items without committing to one and discover what you really like.
